Continuing a strong summer season, Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Nhar back to the label for his debut EP. With a career that now stretches the better part of two decades, French artist Bernhard Siefert aka Nhar has showcased his deep and atmospheric sound via Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant, Azzur, Darkroom Dubs, Mobilee Records, Seven Villas and more. Also highly regarded as a live performer and DJ, Nhar has continued to travel the world, captivating crowds with his elusive brand of mesmerizing electronic music. Having made his Sound Avenue debut in June with a well received remix of ‘Turmeric Latte' by Madloch, Sudnode and Pedro Capelossi, Nhar now returns to the label for a two-track showcase entitled ‘Nocturne Océanique'.

With a whimsical flair, it is the title selection ‘Nocturne Océanique' which sets the tone for the release. Warm, voluptuous basslines lay the foundation for panoramic arps and hazy harmonics to work their magic. Fluttery percussive arrangements maintain a buoyant cadence, while timely chord changes move from esoteric to emotive leading into the break. Masterfully constructed, the interlude delights with its hypnagogic synth-scapes and nostalgic phrasing, eventually giving way for multi-coloured clusters and delicate tonal themes to take us into a spirited finale.

The spellbinding 'Vision De Rivages' further cements Nhar's elusive vision, as a fluid rhythmic core gets complemented with polychromatic arps and rolling bass tones. A joyous exchange of melody and texture where themes of connectedness and hope get translated by spectral vocal fragments, kaleidoscopic motifs and nostalgic chord changes. Designed for a broad range of dance floors and headphone afficionados alike, its feel-good nature concludes a character rich two-track showcase from one of France's long running musical mavericks.
