Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of April by showcasing new interpretations of ‘Amirim' by Choopie and Golan Zocher. With a career that spans the better part of three decades, Israeli artist Choopie is widely regarded as one of his country's premiere electronic music talents. Releases via Bedrock and Yoshitoshi laid the groundwork for what has been a storied career, one which has enjoyed a resurgence in recent years. Meanwhile, Colombian born, Israel based artist Golan Zocher has enjoyed similar success across his five-year career, landing releases via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Paired occasionally since 2020, Choopie and Golan have masterfully synthesized their talents and found that creative balance between progressive and organic house, taking their enchanting sound to Mango Alley, Sol Selectas and Choopie's own Agnosia Black imprint. Madloch's Sound Avenue has also been a landing spot for the duo, with ‘Alush' highlighting the label's popular Correlation series in 2021, ultimately leading to 2022's three-track showcase ‘Amirim'. Now, looking to build on the success of ‘Amirim', Sound Avenue invites Kyotto, Inherent (AU)
and Figueras to re-imagine the EP for 2023's spring season.
