Madloch's Sound Avenue opens the new year by welcoming Darper back to the label for his debut EP. Based in the UK, Darper first emerged in 2017 with 'Res'; a deep organic creation that found a home on Anjunadeep's 'In Miami' collection. Featured alongside the likes of Lane 8, Patrice Baumel, Way Out West, Yotto and more, it immediately made the Hastings resident a name to watch. Choosing his projects wisely going forward, Darper then went on to record music for Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas, Balance Music, Culprit and more across the next four calendar years. Also highly regarded as a DJ, this creative swell of projects took the UK artist to some of the world's trendiest clubs and events, most notably Burning Man, where Darper's unique selections and exquisite programming delighted the desert crowds. Darper's creative partnership with Sound Avenue would begin in 2022 with a well-received remix of 'Tumeric Latte' by Madoch, Subnode and Pedro Capelossi. A release which would open the doors to label affiliate Crossfade Sounds, where the Hasting resident would make his debut in 2023 with a remix of 'Basileo Regolo' by Dott. Santafeo. The year would also see Darper record his first artist showcase for Earthly Delights, before going on to release his first Crossfade Sounds EP, a richly textured and hauntingly musical two-track showcase entitled 'Orbit'.
