The Argentinean born, Buenos Aires based dj & producer Sound Process gained a lot of attention in 2010 with his track "Anatolian" for frisky Records.

It had been on many DJ's wish lists for many months, when it was eventually promoed it shot right to the top of the Release Promo Hype Charts as it earned support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc and many others. 2011 saw further success for Juan with appearances on Cid Inc's Replug imprint and also remixing Eelke Kleijn for Eelke's new Survival imprint. This week Sound Process is making his debut on one of the hottest new imprints this year: Sound Avenue. After massive success with the labels first 3 releases they continue to push their intelligent progressive sound forward with Sound Process' new offering 'Simple Chords' which comes with two top interpretations from Nikko Z and Martin Garcia. 'The 'Simple Chords' original leads the package off with a deeper, hypnotic groove that has a softly textured quality about it that just exudes a warm feeling. When the bass line drops the energy gets picked up quite a few notches, a massive rolling energy that's accented by superb vocal elements and big atmospheric sweeps that continue to build towards the breakdown. As the track strips itself down to just the kick, some waning vocal pads and wispy atmospherics there is an excellent sense of dramatic tension that's building. When bass line reappears with a huge surge it's a massive moment in the record that should send an educated dance floor into a complete frenzy. Top work from Sound Process.

The first remix is supplied by Nikko Z, the Greek producer has had several recent successes, his collaboration with Chris Mozio entitled "Monotony" received support and heavy play from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Furthermore Nikko"s more recent and freshest production "Oranje" (for Movement Recordings) received both radio and live play from Hernan Cattaneo. Nikko's 'Simple Chords' interpretation offers a tougher, more stripped down approach and it's a great vibe that complements the original very well. It's a mature groove that Nikko's constructed here with the intricate drum work really getting showcased amazingly well. The processed vocal elements from the original sound fresh and dynamic and overall the track just has a wicked pop and dance floor sensibility about it. Great remix from Nikko.

Argentinean producer Martin Garcia has been a prominent fixture of the global progressive house scene for several years now. His recent productions on Deep and Sudbeat were stellar and his collaboration with Hernan Cattaneo on Luke Chable's 'The Sheppard' was one of the highlights of Vapour's mammoth 100th release. Here he makes his debut on Sound Avenue and provides the final remix of 'Simple Chords'. Martin has delivered a sultry late night groove of the highest order. With an abundance of killer hypnotic qualities, lush pads and an ultra smooth flow this is another top production that we've come to expect from Martin.
